Possible Causes
Failed heater element, Faulty NTC sensor, Heater relay failure on PCB, Loose heater wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power and allow the unit to cool before accessing the heater.
- Visual inspection: Remove the lower panel and inspect heater wiring and connectors for burning or looseness.
- Continuity test: With a multimeter, check resistance across the heater terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed heater.
- NTC check: Measure NTC resistance at room temperature and compare with Fagor specifications.
- Board diagnosis: If heater and NTC are good, the control board heater relay may be defective and the PCB should be replaced.
