Possible Causes
Water tap closed or low pressure, Inlet hose kinked or clogged, Inlet water filter screen blocked, Inlet valve coil failure on Fagor fill valve assembly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the dishwasher from mains power and close the water tap before removing any panels.
- Check water supply: Ensure the kitchen water tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open. Verify that other taps in the house have normal pressure.
- Inspect inlet hose: Pull the dishwasher slightly forward and check that the Fagor inlet hose is not kinked or crushed behind the cabinet. Straighten if needed.
- Clean inlet filter: Close the water tap, unscrew the inlet hose from the tap, and remove the small mesh filter inside the hose connector. Rinse under running water and reinstall.
- Test fill: Reconnect the hose, open the tap, restore power, and run a short program. If F1 returns and you hear no filling sound, the Fagor water inlet valve may be defective and should be replaced.
- When to call a technician: If you measure correct water pressure and the hose/filter are clear but the valve does not open or hum, replacement of the inlet valve assembly and electrical testing should be done by a qualified technician.
