Possible Causes
Blocked spray arm not directing water at dispenser, Dispenser door not opening fully, Low water temperature, Overloaded upper rack blocking dispenser
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the dishwasher before inspecting the dispenser and spray arms.
- 1. Check dispenser door: Run a short cycle and open the door mid-way to confirm the dispenser lid has opened. If not, see dispenser faults (E19).
- 2. Spray arm alignment: Ensure the upper spray arm is not loose or blocked and that it can spray water towards the dispenser area.
- 3. Loading pattern: Avoid placing large plates or trays directly in front of the dispenser, which can block the tablet from dropping into the wash area.
- 4. Water temperature: Use a hotter program if tablets are not dissolving fully, especially in cold inlet conditions.
- 5. Try powder or gel: As a test, use powder or gel detergent to see if cleaning improves, which may indicate a dispenser or spray pattern issue.
