Possible Causes
Worn or damaged door gasket, Blocked spray arm causing water to jet at door, Overfilling due to level sensor issue, Misaligned door or hinges
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and stop the water supply if a significant leak occurs.
- 1. Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening. Look for splits, flattening, or gaps, especially at the bottom corners.
- 2. Clean gasket and mating surfaces: Wipe the gasket and door edges with warm soapy water to remove grease and debris that may prevent a good seal.
- 3. Check spray arms: Ensure spray arm jets are not blocked and are not cracked. A damaged arm can spray directly at the door seal.
- 4. Level the appliance: Make sure the dishwasher is not tilted forward, which can cause water to pool at the front.
- 5. Replace gasket: If the gasket is visibly worn or hardened, replace it with a new Finlux door seal, pressing it firmly into the groove around the tub.
- 6. If leak persists: Overfilling or a warped door may require professional assessment.
