Drying System Inefficiency
Dishwasher leaves dishes wet at the end of the cycle; poor drying performance.

Possible Causes
No rinse aid or faulty rinse aid dispenser, Low final rinse temperature due to heater issue, Blocked vent or fan (if fitted), Overloading or incorrect unloading
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the dishwasher to cool before inspecting internal components.
- 1. Check rinse aid: Ensure the rinse aid reservoir is filled and the dosage setting is appropriate for your water hardness.
- 2. Confirm heating: At the end of a hot program, open the door carefully. The interior should feel warm and steamy. If not, see heating-related faults (E2/E9).
- 3. Inspect vent/fan: On models with a drying fan or vent in the door, check that the vent is not blocked by scale or debris. Do not cover it with cabinet trim.
- 4. Loading habits: Angle dishes so water can run off. Avoid placing plastic items on the bottom rack where they may retain more water.
- 5. Unloading order: Open the door slightly at the end of the cycle to release steam, then unload the lower rack first to prevent water from upper rack items dripping onto clean dishes.
- 6. If still poor: A faulty rinse aid dispenser or drying fan (if equipped) may need replacement.
