Finlux
Extended Cycle Time / Heating or Sensor Issue
Dishwasher runs for an unusually long time; cycles seem to never finish.

Possible Causes
Water not heating properly, Faulty temperature sensor, Very cold inlet water, Excessive soil level causing extra rinses
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Be cautious when opening the door mid-cycle; hot steam may escape.
- 1. Check water temperature: After 20–30 minutes of a hot program, open the door slightly. If the water is lukewarm, the heater or sensor may be faulty (see E2/E6).
- 2. Inlet water: If connected to cold water in a very cold environment, expect longer cycles. Consider connecting to a hot supply if allowed by the manual.
- 3. Soil level: Very dirty loads may trigger additional rinses. Scrape plates before loading.
- 4. Sensor cleaning: Clean the turbidity sensor window and filters to ensure accurate soil detection.
- 5. If still excessive: A failing heater or sensor may require professional replacement.
