Possible Causes

Closed or low-pressure water supply tap, Clogged inlet hose filter at Aquastop, Defective water inlet valve, Faulty flow meter or pressure sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher or switch off the circuit breaker and close the water supply tap before working on the appliance.

  • 1. Check water supply: Ensure the kitchen tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open. Verify household water pressure is normal by opening a nearby faucet.
  • 2. Inspect inlet hose and Aquastop: Pull the dishwasher out slightly. Check the Finlux Aquastop inlet hose for kinks or crushing. Unscrew the hose from the tap and clean the small mesh filter inside the hose end using a soft brush.
  • 3. Check inlet valve: Remove the lower front kick plate. Locate the water inlet valve where the hose connects to the machine. Inspect for visible damage or leaks. With power off, disconnect the wiring connector and reseat it firmly.
  • 4. Test fill: Restore power and water, then run a quick program. If E1 returns and water does not enter, the inlet valve or flow meter assembly is likely faulty and should be replaced.
  • 5. When to call a technician: If you are not comfortable working with mains water and electrical connections, or if the Aquastop hose is suspected faulty (bulged, leaking, or permanently closed), contact a qualified technician.
