Possible Causes
Dirty turbidity sensor window, Failed optical sensor, Loose sensor wiring, Control board sensor circuit fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before accessing the sump area.
- 1. Locate turbidity sensor: On many Finlux dishwashers, the turbidity sensor is mounted on the side of the sump with a clear plastic window inside the tub.
- 2. Clean sensor window: Remove the lower basket and filters. From inside the tub, gently clean the sensor window with a soft cloth and warm soapy water to remove grease film.
- 3. Check external body: From underneath, inspect the sensor body and wiring connector. Ensure it is firmly seated and free of cracks.
- 4. Test cycle: Reassemble and run a normal program. If E13 returns, the sensor may be defective.
- 5. Replacement: Replace the turbidity sensor with a compatible Finlux part if cleaning and reseating do not resolve the error.
- 6. Technician note: If a new sensor does not fix the issue, the main control board may have a faulty sensor input and should be checked professionally.
