Clogged drain filter, Blocked drain hose, Obstructed air gap or sink connection, Failed drain pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working on drainage.
- Clean filters: Remove the lower rack and take out all filters. Rinse under running water and remove food debris.
- Check sump: Inspect the sump area for foreign objects blocking the drain pump inlet.
- Inspect external plumbing: Check the air gap (if present), sink trap, and garbage disposer inlet for clogs.
- Check drain hose: Ensure the hose is not kinked and is installed with a proper high loop. Detach and flush if necessary.
If the drain pump hums but does not move water, or is silent, replace the drain pump.
