How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and water. Do not continue to run a leaking dishwasher.
- Pull out the unit: Carefully slide the dishwasher out from the cabinet to inspect the underside.
- Inspect components: Use a flashlight to check around the circulation pump, drain pump, heater plate, and all hoses for signs of water trails or mineral deposits.
- Tighten clamps: Tighten any loose hose clamps and replace any hoses that show cracks or bulging.
- Check seals: Inspect the pump seals and heater plate gasket for leaks while running a short test (with panels off but keeping clear of live parts).
Replace any leaking pump assembly, sump, or heater plate gasket as needed.
