How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working on drainage.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove and clean all filters. Check the sump for debris blocking the drain pump inlet.
- Check external plumbing: Inspect the air gap (if fitted), sink trap, and garbage disposer inlet for clogs. Clear any blockages.
- Flush drain hose: Disconnect the drain hose from the sink and flush with water to ensure it is clear.
If the pump hums but does not move water, or is silent, the drain pump may need replacement.
