Possible Causes
Stuck inlet valve, Blocked pressure sensor hose, Faulty water level sensor, Control not shutting valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water immediately if overfilling or leaking is observed.
- Check water level: Open the door and see if the water level is above the normal filter plate. If so, manually remove excess water with a cup or sponge.
- Inspect inlet valve: Turn off the water tap. If water continues to enter, the inlet valve is stuck open and must be replaced.
- Clean pressure system: Clean filters and sump, and if accessible, inspect the pressure hose and air trap for blockages.
Persistent E4 faults usually require replacement of the water inlet valve or water level sensor.
