Possible Causes
Overheating of internal components, Blocked ventilation around dishwasher, Faulty temperature sensor, Control board overheat
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before inspection.
- Allow cooling: Leave the dishwasher powered off for at least 30 minutes to cool internal components.
- Check installation clearance: Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the dishwasher, especially at the sides and rear. Do not block the toe-kick area.
- Inspect for heat sources: Make sure the dishwasher is not installed directly next to an oven without proper insulation.
- Check temperature sensor: If accessible, inspect the thermistor / temperature sensor wiring for damage.
If F10 recurs even with proper ventilation and normal usage, the temperature sensor or control board may need replacement.
