Possible Causes
Stuck diverter valve, Faulty fill diverter motor, Wiring fault to diverter, Blockage in diverter assembly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and water before working on the unit.
- Listen during fill: Start a cycle and listen for unusual clicking or grinding from the bottom of the unit where the diverter valve is located.
- Check for debris: Remove the filter plate and inspect the sump area for objects that could jam the diverter mechanism.
- Inspect wiring: From underneath, locate the diverter motor and check its wiring harness for damage or loose connections.
If the diverter is jammed or the motor has failed, replace the diverter valve assembly.
