Possible Causes
Failed circulation pump motor, Blocked sump or impeller, Clogged spray arms, Low water level due to fill issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power and water supply before accessing the bottom of the unit.
- Check water level: After fill, open the door. Water should cover the filter area. If low, address inlet valve or i10-type issues first.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove and clean the filters. Inspect the sump for debris blocking the circulation pump intake.
- Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms. Rinse and clear each jet hole with a toothpick or small brush to remove mineral deposits and food particles.
- Listen for pump operation: Restore power and start a cycle. If you hear only a hum or nothing during wash, the circulation pump may be seized or failed.
- Replace circulation pump: Access the pump from underneath, disconnect hoses and wiring, and install a new Frigidaire Professional-compatible circulation pump/motor assembly.
