Dishwasher has power but will not start a cycle; Start button beeps or flashes and nothing happens.

Safety First: Disconnect power before adjusting latch hardware.

• Check door closure: Close the door firmly and listen for a solid click. If the door feels loose or springy, the latch may be worn.
• Inspect latch and strike: Open the door and examine the latch mechanism at the top and the strike on the tub frame. Tighten loose screws and ensure the strike is centered in the latch opening.
• Test door switch: With power off, remove the inner door panel and test the door switch for continuity when the latch is engaged. Replace the latch assembly if the switch is intermittent or open.
• Control reset: After repairs, restore power and press Cancel, then Start to begin a new cycle.
