Possible Causes
Damaged or dirty door gasket, Warped door or tub frame, Over-sudsing from wrong detergent, Spray arm hitting door due to misloading
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power and water if leak is significant to prevent damage.
- Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Replace if torn, flattened, or brittle.
- Check lower spray arm: Ensure the lower spray arm spins freely and is not cracked or warped. Make sure tall items are not blocking it and deflecting water toward the door.
- Use proper detergent: Only use dishwasher detergent. If you accidentally used dish soap, drain and rinse the unit several times to remove suds.
- Level the dishwasher: Verify the unit is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust leveling legs so the door seals evenly.
