Dishwasher will not run and displays i30; unit may attempt to drain continuously even when empty.

Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker and shut off water supply. Expect standing water in the base pan.

• Check for obvious leaks: Remove the toe-kick panel. Use a flashlight to inspect the base pan for water. If water is present, carefully sponge or towel it out until dry.
• Reset float switch: Once the base pan is dry, gently move the float switch (usually a small Styrofoam or plastic float) to ensure it moves freely and is not stuck in the up position.
• Run a short test cycle: Restore power and water, then run a quick wash while observing underneath (use a mirror if needed). Look for drips from the sump seal, circulation pump, drain hose connections, or inlet valve.
• Check door and tub gaskets: Inspect the door gasket for tears, warping, or debris. Clean with warm soapy water. Check the bottom tub gasket or deflector for damage or misalignment.
• Address over-sudsing: If you see excessive foam, drain the unit, then run a rinse cycle with 1–2 tablespoons of cooking oil or a cup of cold water with a few drops of anti-foam agent to break down suds.
• When to call a technician: If the leak source is the sump assembly, circulation pump housing, or a cracked tub, professional replacement is recommended.
