Dishwasher displays i50 and may not circulate or drain water properly.

• Inspect circulation motor: Access the bottom of the dishwasher and locate the circulation pump motor on the sump. Check for signs of overheating, burnt smell, or water leakage around the motor.
• Check drain pump: Spin the drain pump impeller by hand (with power off). It should turn freely. If seized or very stiff, the pump is likely failed and should be replaced.
• Inspect wiring harness: Look for burnt, pinched, or loose wires between the pumps and the main control board. Repair or replace damaged wiring.
• Reset control: After addressing any obvious motor or wiring issues, restore power and attempt a short cycle. If i50 returns immediately, the control board’s motor triac may be damaged.
