Possible Causes

Stuck float switch in raised position, Debris under float, Faulty float switch, Wiring issue to float switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety First: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.

  • 1. Locate float: Inside the tub, find the float dome (usually in a front corner). Lift and lower it to ensure it moves freely.
  • 2. Clean around float: Remove any food debris, plastic, or scale buildup that could hold the float up.
  • 3. Test float switch: From underneath, access the float switch. With power off, test continuity while moving the float up and down. Replace the switch if it does not change state.

If the FL indication persists with a good float and switch, the control board input circuit may be faulty.
