Dishwasher displays PF and may stop mid-cycle; usually after a power interruption.

Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker before opening the junction box cover.

• 1. Confirm household power: Check that other appliances and lights on the same circuit are working. Reset the breaker if tripped.
• 2. Inspect junction box: Remove the toe-kick panel and open the dishwasher’s junction box. Verify wire nuts are tight and no wires are burnt.
• 3. Check door latch switch: Ensure the door closes firmly and the latch engages. A failing door switch can mimic a power loss.
• 4. Restart cycle: Clear the PF code by pressing Start or canceling and restarting the cycle.

If PF recurs frequently without household power issues, have a technician inspect the wiring and control board.
