Possible Causes
Loose or cracked circulation pump hose, Deteriorated sump-to-tub gasket, Split drain hose, Leaking water softener or side water matrix
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water supply. Mop up any standing water to prevent slipping.
- Pull out dishwasher: Carefully slide the unit out of the cabinet to inspect the sides and underside.
- Run a test with panels off: Place towels under the machine and run a short cycle while observing. Identify the exact source of the leak (hose, sump, side matrix).
- Tighten or replace hoses: If a hose clamp is loose, tighten it. Replace any hose that shows cracks or bulging.
- Sump gasket: If water seeps around the sump perimeter, replace the sump gasket. This usually requires removing the circulation pump and sump assembly from the tub.
Do not continue using the dishwasher until all leaks are fully repaired to avoid cabinet and floor damage.
