Possible Causes
Worn or deformed door gasket, Clogged lower spray arm causing water to jet at door, Misaligned door due to poor leveling, Damaged bottom door seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and turn off water if the leak is significant.
- Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening. Look for tears, flattening, or gaps, especially at the corners. Replace if damaged.
- Clean spray arms: Remove the lower spray arm and clean all jets with a toothpick and hot water. A blocked jet can direct a strong stream at the door seal.
- Check leveling: Use a spirit level on the top of the dishwasher. Adjust the front and rear feet so the unit is level and not leaning forward, which can cause front leaks.
- Bottom seal: Inspect the lower door seal (if separate) for wear or warping. Replace if water tracks are visible along its length.
After adjustments and gasket replacement, run a short cycle and observe the door area for any remaining leaks.
