Possible Causes
Dirty or scaled turbidity sensor window, Failed turbidity sensor, Loose sensor connector, Wiring fault to sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the dishwasher to cool.
- Locate turbidity sensor: The turbidity (optical) sensor is usually mounted on the side of the sump or in a side water matrix. Access from underneath or from the side panel.
- Clean sensor: Remove the sensor and gently clean the optical window with a soft cloth and warm soapy water to remove grease and scale. Do not scratch the lens.
- Inspect wiring: Check the sensor connector and harness for corrosion or damage. Reseat the connector firmly.
- Test / replace sensor: If E12 returns after cleaning, replace the turbidity sensor with a compatible Fulgor Milano part.
After repair, run an intensive cycle to allow the control to recalibrate soil sensing.
