Interior light of the dishwasher does not turn on when the door is opened (on models with interior lighting).

Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the light module.

Steps:

• Check door switch: If the machine also does not recognize door open/close correctly, test and replace the door switch.
• Access light module: Depending on model, remove the inner door panel or top trim to reach the light.
• Test light: Measure voltage at the light connector when the door is opened (only if qualified). If voltage is present but no light, replace the LED module or bulb.
• Inspect wiring: Repair any damaged wires between control and light.
