Possible Causes
Failed heater element, No rinse aid, Faulty vent or fan (on vented models), Low final rinse temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before testing heater or vent components.
- Use rinse aid: Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled and set to an appropriate dosage. Rinse aid greatly improves drying.
- Open door after cycle: After the cycle completes, crack the door open slightly to release steam and improve drying.
- Inspect heater element: Check for visible damage and test continuity with a multimeter. Replace if open.
- Check vent/fan (if equipped): On models with a vent or fan in the door, ensure the vent is not blocked and the fan runs during drying. Replace the vent fan assembly if it fails.
