How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power. Water in the tub may be hot; wear gloves.
- Remove standing water: Use a cup or sponge to remove most of the water from the tub.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove and rinse filters. Inspect the sump area and drain outlet for debris.
- Check air gap and sink connection: If you have an air gap, remove the cap and clean inside. Disconnect the drain hose from the sink or disposal and clear any blockage.
- Inspect drain hose: Check for kinks or clogs along its length. Flush with hot water.
- Test drain pump: Access the pump from below, remove it, and inspect the impeller. Replace the pump if the impeller is damaged or the motor does not run when energized.
