How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing internal parts.
- Thoroughly clean filters: Remove and scrub filters with hot, soapy water.
- Clean sump area: Remove lower spray arm and filters. Wipe out the sump and surrounding areas with a cloth and hot soapy water. Remove any trapped food.
- Run cleaning cycle: Run a hot cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar on the top rack. Follow with a baking soda rinse if odors persist.
- Use regularly: Run the dishwasher at least once a week to prevent stagnant water and odor buildup.
