How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before reaching into the sump or removing parts.
- Check spray arms: Spin upper and lower spray arms by hand. Ensure they rotate freely and are not hitting tall dishes or utensils. Reposition dishes if needed.
- Inspect sump for debris: Remove lower rack, spray arm, and filters. Use a flashlight to look for glass, bones, or hard objects in the sump. Carefully remove any debris.
- Check circulation pump: If noise persists, access the wash motor from below. Remove it and inspect the impeller and housing for damage. Replace the pump if bearings are noisy or impeller is damaged.
