Possible Causes
Low incoming water temperature, Heater not working, Dirty turbidity sensor, Control misreading soil level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before testing heater or sensors.
- Use hot water: Run hot water at the sink before starting the dishwasher to reduce heat-up time.
- Check heater operation: Open the door near the end of the wash; water should be hot and steamy. Test heater continuity and replace if failed.
- Clean turbidity sensor (if equipped): The sensor is usually in the sump. Remove and clean any film or debris from the lens.
- Reset control: Turn off the breaker for a few minutes, then restart a cycle. If long run times persist with no heating, the control or heater circuit may need service.
