How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and water. The dishwasher may need to be pulled out for access.
- Listen during wash: If the unit fills but you hear only a hum or nothing during wash, the circulation pump may be stuck or failed.
- Inspect sump and impeller: Remove filters and check for debris that could jam the impeller.
- Access circulation pump: From underneath, locate the wash pump. Remove it and inspect the impeller for damage or obstructions.
- Test motor: Check resistance of the motor windings. If open or shorted, replace the circulation pump assembly.
