Possible Causes

Overloaded lower or upper rack blocking spray arm rotation, Tall items interfering with wash arm, Debris jammed in circulation pump impeller, Faulty circulation pump drawing excessive current

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker if you need to access components under the unit. For rack adjustments only, you can use the control panel to pause.

  • Check rack loading: Open the door and inspect how dishes are loaded. Ensure tall pans, trays, or utensils are not blocking the lower or middle spray arms.
  • Spin spray arms: Manually rotate each spray arm. They should spin freely without hitting dishes or racks. Reposition items or adjust the upper rack height as needed.
  • Inspect for debris: Remove the lower rack and filters. Check the sump for broken glass or hard objects that could jam the circulation pump.
  • Test run: After clearing obstructions, run a short cycle and listen for normal spray sounds. If C9 returns and the pump is noisy or stops abruptly, the circulation pump may be failing and should be replaced.
