Top rack dishes are not getting clean while lower rack dishes are mostly clean.

Safety first: Disconnect power if accessing the sump or diverter; for spray arm cleaning, power can remain off at the control.

• Clean upper spray arm: Remove the upper spray arm and clear all jets. Rinse thoroughly.
• Inspect feed tube: Ensure the vertical feed tube and connection to the upper arm are not cracked or blocked.
• Check diverter: Some GE Café models use a diverter valve in the sump. Access the sump from below and inspect the diverter for obstructions or mechanical failure. Replace if not switching properly.
• Verify pump performance: If upper wash remains weak, test and replace the circulation pump if necessary.
