How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and water if leak is significant to prevent damage.
Steps:
- 1. Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening for tears, flattening, or gaps. Replace if damaged.
- 2. Check bottom door seal: Inspect the lower door seal or splash shield for wear or deformation. Replace if water trails are visible.
- 3. Verify spray arm clearance: Ensure spray arms are not cracked or warped and are not striking the door or racks.
- 4. Check fill level: If water level is excessively high, inspect the float and inlet valve for proper operation.
After replacing seals, run a short cycle and observe for leaks.
