Possible Causes
Loose hose clamp on circulation or drain hose, Cracked sump assembly, Leaking pump seal, Leaking water inlet valve connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and water immediately. Water on the floor can be a slip and shock hazard.
Steps:
- 1. Remove toe-kick and inspect: Look under the unit with a flashlight while running a short cycle to locate the leak source.
- 2. Tighten clamps: If a hose connection is dripping, tighten the clamp or replace the hose if cracked.
- 3. Inspect sump and pumps: Look for water seeping from around the sump, circulation pump, or drain pump. Replace seals or the entire assembly if cracked.
- 4. Check inlet valve: Ensure the water supply line and outlet from the valve are not leaking; tighten fittings or replace valve if necessary.
Significant leaks or cracked tubs often require professional service.
