Dishwasher will not power on at all; no lights or display, no response to buttons.

Safety: Always turn off the breaker before opening electrical junction boxes or accessing internal wiring.

Steps:

• 1. Check household power: Verify the dishwasher's breaker is ON and not tripped. Reset if necessary.
• 2. Inspect junction box: Remove the toe-kick and open the junction box cover. Confirm wire nuts are tight and wires are not burned. Repair any damaged wiring.
• 3. Test outlet (if corded): If your GE Profile uses a plug, test the outlet with another appliance.
• 4. Check door latch: A failed latch switch can prevent power-up. Inspect and replace if defective.
• 5. Control board: If power is present at the board but there is no response, the main control board may need replacement.
