Possible Causes
Blocked spray arm jets, Failed circulation pump, Low water level due to intake restriction, Blocked sump inlet to circulation pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before accessing internal components.
- Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms by unscrewing or unclipping them. Rinse under running water and clear blocked jets with a toothpick.
- Check water level: Start a program and, after filling, open the door (after disconnecting power). The water should reach just below the door lip. If low, check inlet filters and hose.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove all filters and clean the sump area to ensure good flow to the circulation pump.
- Listen for pump operation: During wash, you should hear a strong spraying noise. A humming sound without spray indicates a jammed or failed circulation pump.
- Access and inspect pump: From the base, inspect the circulation pump for obstructions or damage. Replace the pump if it does not run or is seized.
