Possible Causes

Blocked pressure chamber or pressure hose, Faulty pressure switch / water level sensor, Stuck inlet valve, Control board not reading level correctly

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap. Be prepared for water spillage when opening panels.

  • Drain excess water: If the tub is overfilled, use a container or sponge to remove water down to normal level. Then run a drain program if possible.
  • Clean filters and sump: Remove the lower basket and filters. Clean the metal filter, microfilter, and sump area thoroughly to ensure proper water flow to the pressure chamber.
  • Inspect pressure hose: Access the underside of the tub and locate the small rubber or plastic hose running from the sump/air chamber to the pressure switch. Check for kinks, blockages, or splits. Remove and flush it with hot water.
  • Check pressure switch: Locate the pressure switch or analog level sensor (often mounted on the side). Ensure the connector is secure. If you gently blow into the hose (disconnected from the switch), you should hear clicks on a mechanical switch; no click may indicate failure.
  • Verify inlet valve operation: Ensure the inlet valve is not stuck open. With power off, disconnect the hose from the valve outlet and check that no water flows when the tap is open and the valve is unpowered. If water flows, replace the valve.
  • Reassemble and test: Refit all hoses and panels, restore power and water, and run a short cycle to confirm normal filling and that E04 is cleared.
