Possible Causes
Defective flow meter in side water matrix, Blocked or air‑locked water channels, Loose wiring to flow meter, Faulty main control board input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before removing side panels.
- Check inlet filters and hose: Ensure the inlet hose filters are clean and water pressure is adequate, as described for E01.
- Inspect side water matrix: Remove the left side panel and examine the transparent water matrix. Look for air pockets, sludge, or limescale blocking the flow paths. Flush with hot water and descaler if necessary.
- Check flow meter connection: Locate the flow meter (small device with two wires attached to the matrix). Ensure the connector is firmly seated and wires are intact.
- Bleed air: After reassembly, run a rinse program and allow the machine to fill and pump for several minutes to purge air from the system.
- Advanced test: With service data and a multimeter or oscilloscope, verify that the flow meter outputs pulses to the control board during filling. No pulses indicate a failed flow meter that must be replaced.
