Detergent tablet or powder remains in the dispenser at the end of the cycle.

Safety first: Allow the dishwasher to cool before inspecting the dispenser.

• 1. Check loading: Ensure large pans or trays are not blocking the dispenser door from opening.
• 2. Test dispenser door: With the door open, manually latch and release the dispenser to confirm it opens freely.
• 3. Clean dispenser: Remove any caked-on detergent and wipe the compartment dry.
• 4. Inspect spray arms: Make sure spray arms are not clogged and can direct water toward the dispenser area.
• 5. Replace dispenser: If the dispenser coil or latch is faulty, replace the Haier detergent dispenser assembly.
