• 3. Open door after cycle: After the cycle completes, crack the door open slightly to allow steam to escape and improve drying.
• 4. Verify heater operation: If dishes are cold at the end of the cycle, test the heater and NTC sensor as described in heating fault sections.
• 5. Inspect vent/fan: On models with a drying fan or vent, check for blockages and ensure the fan runs. Replace the fan assembly if defective.

Warning: Plastic items typically dry less well than glass or ceramic; this is normal to some extent.
