• 2. Clean filters and sump: Remove and clean the filters. Check the sump for debris that could block the pump inlet.
• 3. Access circulation pump: Lay the dishwasher on its back and remove the bottom panel. Locate the wash pump attached to the sump.
• 4. Inspect and test pump: Check for obstructions in the impeller. Try rotating the impeller by hand; if stiff or locked, replace the pump. Test motor windings for continuity.
• 5. Control board check: If the pump is mechanically and electrically sound but never receives power, the main control board may be defective and require replacement.
