Possible Causes
Worn or damaged Haier door gasket, Blocked spray arms directing water at the door, Overfilling due to faulty level sensor, Misleveled dishwasher leaning forward
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water supply if leaking is significant.
- 1. Check leveling: Use a spirit level to ensure the dishwasher is slightly tilted back, not forward. Adjust front feet as needed.
- 2. Inspect door gasket: Examine the rubber gasket around the door for tears, flattening, or gaps, especially at the bottom corners. Replace if worn.
- 3. Clean gasket and mating surfaces: Wipe the gasket and the tub lip with warm soapy water to remove grease and debris that can prevent sealing.
- 4. Inspect spray arms: Ensure spray arm jets are not blocked, causing jets to spray directly at the door. Clean as required.
- 5. Check fill level: If water level is excessively high, inspect the water level sensor and inlet valve for faults that could cause overfilling.
Warning: Do not continue using the dishwasher with active leaks; this can damage flooring and cabinetry.
