Possible Causes
Defective water level pressure sensor, Blocked pressure hose or chamber, Loose connector at sensor, Faulty main control board analog input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.
- 1. Access the pressure sensor: Remove the side panel or lower kick panel to locate the Haier water level sensor (pressure switch or analog sensor) connected by a small hose to the tub or sump.
- 2. Inspect the hose: Remove the hose from both ends and check for soap scum, grease, or debris. Rinse it thoroughly and ensure it is not cracked or kinked.
- 3. Clean the air trap: Where the hose connects to the tub, there is often a small chamber. Clean this area to ensure air can move freely to the sensor.
- 4. Check electrical connection: Verify the sensor plug is fully seated and free of corrosion. Reseat the connector several times to clean contacts.
- 5. Replace sensor if needed: If E6 persists after cleaning and wiring checks, replace the water level pressure sensor with a compatible Haier part.
Warning: Do not blow excessively hard into the sensor; some electronic sensors can be damaged by overpressure.
