Possible Causes
Hard water with insufficient rinse aid, Too much detergent, Clogged Haier softener (if equipped), Low water temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow dishes to cool before handling.
- 1. Adjust detergent amount: Use the minimum detergent recommended for your water hardness. Excess detergent can leave residue.
- 2. Use rinse aid: Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled and adjust to a higher setting if spotting persists.
- 3. Check water temperature: Confirm hot water supply is at least 49–60°C (120–140°F).
- 4. Run cleaning cycle: Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or white vinegar (in a dishwasher-safe cup on the top rack) to remove mineral buildup.
- 5. Softener check (if fitted): For Haier models with built-in softeners, ensure salt is filled and settings match your water hardness.
Warning: Do not mix vinegar with chlorine-based cleaners; harmful fumes can result.
