Possible Causes
Leaking door gasket, Cracked wash tank or sump, Loose hose clamp on pump or drain, Faulty or triggered leak float switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water supply immediately if a leak is suspected. Avoid standing in water while working on the machine.
- Inspect base tray: Remove lower front panel and check the base for standing water. If present, carefully sponge or vacuum it out.
- Locate leak source: Run a brief fill or wash with panels off (power restored, use caution) and observe for drips around the door, sump, pumps, and hoses.
- Check door gasket: Inspect the door gasket for tears, flattening, or chemical damage. Replace if it does not seal evenly.
- Tighten hose clamps: Verify all hose clamps on the wash pump, drain pump, and fill lines are tight and hoses are not cracked.
- Float switch reset: Once the leak is corrected and the base is dry, ensure the leak float switch moves freely and is not stuck in the up position. Replace the float switch if corroded or damaged.
