Safety first: Disconnect power before adjusting door components or opening the control panel.

• Confirm door closure: Ensure the door or hood is fully closed and latched. Check that baskets or tall items are not preventing closure.
• Check door switch: Listen for a click when closing the door. If absent, inspect and adjust the door microswitch or striker.
• Program selection: On Hoonved models with multiple programs, ensure a program is actually selected (indicator LED or display icon). Some machines will not start without a valid program.
• Test START button: If other buttons respond but START does not, the keypad may be faulty. Replace the user interface PCB if necessary.
• Control input: If all external parts are fine, the main PCB may not be reading the start signal and could require replacement.
