How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If steam or water has entered the control area, allow it to dry completely. Inspect for signs of corrosion.
- Check ribbon cable: Reseat the ribbon cable or harness between the keypad/display PCB and the main control board. Ensure connectors are fully inserted.
- Test buttons: With the panel open (and power off), press each button and feel for a positive click. A soft or stuck feel may indicate a failed membrane.
- Replace UI PCB: If individual keys do not respond or random inputs occur, replace the display/keyboard PCB assembly with the correct Hoonved part.
