Possible Causes
Worn or compressed door gasket, Bent door or cabinet frame, Blocked lower spray arm causing direct jet at door, Excessive water level in tank
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the machine to cool before inspecting the door area.
- Clean gasket and mating surfaces: Wipe the door gasket and the cabinet contact area to remove grease and debris.
- Inspect gasket condition: Look for flat spots, tears, or hardened rubber. Replace the gasket if it does not seal evenly.
- Check door alignment: Verify that the door closes evenly on both sides. Adjust hinges or latches if the door is twisted.
- Inspect lower spray arm: Remove and clean the lower spray arm. Ensure jets are not blocked and that the arm rotates freely. A blocked jet can spray directly at the door seal.
- Verify water level: If the water level is too high, inspect the level sensor or pressure switch for faults.
