Water remains in the bottom of the Hoonved dishwasher after the cycle; machine appears to complete but does not drain fully.

Safety first: Turn off power before working on the drain system. Beware of hot water.

• Clean filters: Remove and thoroughly clean the stainless-steel filters and any plastic pre-filters in the tank.
• Inspect drain hose: Ensure the hose is not kinked or crushed. Remove it from the standpipe or sink connection and flush with hot water to clear grease buildup.
• Check installation height: Verify that the drain hose is installed at the height recommended by Hoonved. Excessive height can reduce pump efficiency.
• Test drain pump: During drain, listen for the pump. If it sounds weak or noisy, or if little water exits, the pump may be worn and require replacement.
